There really is not much of a noticable difference between the two bats, at least that is what I think KLU is getting at. The ST98 might feel a little more EL but not very much at all. Performance, durability, and weighting are actually pretty equal. I feel like I swing both bats equally well. There is more feedback in the SY98, but other than that, they are just about the same across the board other than one of them being a 2 piece.

Yes. Hitting just 1 ball 400'+ has become much too easy since I have reached 5,000 posts. I now swing two bats and hit two balls 400' in a single stroke.

I'm only playing ASA and the SCN3 is on the "not approved" list of the league next year (at least that's what I've been told). If everything were the same (ball, bats) I wouldn't change a thing. They are changing to the new ball standard and are listing many of the older bats on their not approved list.
