Z2000 USSSA/NSA models

“Thank you for your comments regarding recent news of durability concerns on the Louisville Slugger USSSA Z-2000 bats. The Z-2000 bat has experienced incredible success on the field, including Tim Cocco being named the USSSA Offensive Player of the Year after breaking the home run record. In recent days, our team has detected a manufacturing issue that has compromised the durability of a sub-set of Z-2000 USSSA model bats and we look forward to working with each of you to do the right thing to keep you on the field. Please go to http://www.slugger.com/slowpitch/index.html to learn more about this issue and how the Louisville Slugger team can help with your questions.”

Just spoke with cs. They said warranty will not be affected by this. if you have a z2k with the bad qc #, you can return it with an RA # and receive the new z2k in 8-10 weeks with a new full 1 year warranty.

Hmmmmmm considering sending my QC3 in now. Just dont want to wait 8-12 weeks but a little reassurance that what I get back should last is always nice.

exactly. plus you get a brand new bat with no issues and get a new full 1 year warranty since it is a manufacturers defect/recall.

My bats holding up fine... but it's in the bad batch numbers...

All you guys with your qc3 horror stories.... make me want to send mine in.

I use my cattys mostly so the wait doesn't bother me.

Im in the same predicament, my QC3 has about 75 swings on it and seems fine but I might just go ahead and send it back and swing my blackout in the mean time. I love my Z but think I would rather just have a new one and not have to worry that it might crack after every swing

you are correct. CS tols me to swing mine until it breaks and send back and they will hnor the replacement regardless for those QC numbers that are affected.
