Kind of piggybacking on NYC's thread, what is the real price check on one of these? I got mine from a buddy who was a minor leaguer with the Padres some years back. Was his backup glove, never really used, but broken in.

On the bay, there are some listed for $1500 from time to time.
Realistically, if someone really wants one I'd say
    $350-400ish

Fred is right on. If I remember correctly, there was a used one that went for 400 on the bay, and a nwot that went for $700 I think. No autographs or anything. This was probably a year or so ago.

They have some with autographs for a lot but 1. they are autographed, 2. they are brand new, 3. they've been on the bay for 3 years with no buyers.

I love traps, like Mizunos, like Deguchi, like Navy, but not for $350. I get its a limited release model, guess you would have to really want that specific model and color. I would like a navy trap in some , brand but, am spoiled, dont like to pay retail plus, LOL.
    Maybe make my own, LOL

Good grief.... ok Sparkley...you dont know the value, you dont know the specs, but you feel the need to comment something contrary to the people in the know? odd...
Stick w ur navy vinci trap for sub retail as you mentioned. Seems like a good plan

OK , I think your misunderstanding my initial sticker shock post. I really like the glove. I just didnt know that they would go for that much. I have a black Deguchi trap here, I think the same model. W )hile I am impressed with it and like the navy even more, I had no idea that they were fetching prices like that. Yes, I do live in a Vinci bubble but, I like all gloves and appreciate good leather in any brand.
So sorry for distracting from the OP post.
Actually it makes me appreciate some of the other glove prices I see , like the small batch Easton Horween, the new Underamour glove s(mmm love that cherry!)
