I think that is a great idea and I hope he'll hit it against the GSC P413,the Reebok and the ultra 2.

I vote yes for Dave to, plus he looks so good on camera, how can that guy be playing 50's when he looks 40. So Timmy I think you should send him that bat ASAP so he can start on it

YES TO DAVE V and anyone else who can give a review on the Easton Elder bat or any senior bat to help others make up their mind on what senior bat might be best for them.

That sounds about right. Our team did the buy in program with Easton and we will have our Elder bats delivered around march 15th or so.

Just an update for folks waiting on the Easton Elder review.... Since the news broke this A.M. about Bauer Sorts buying Easton Bell Sports there is an understandable delay in me getting Dave V the bat for a review ... Now all the "quiet" I have been getting makes sense to me ... as soon as i get the bat(s) from Easton I will promptly ship it to Dave for a review ....sorry for the delay

let's see ... Miken and Worth owned by the same parent ... now Easton and Combat owned by the same parent ... could Demarini and Louisville Slugger be in negotiations?

I hit this bat this past Sunday. We had a 27oz that was webbed up and had paint chips on the barrel. It had a knob cuff. I took about 25 swings with it. It was very balanced. We were hitting Thunder SX's, ZN's and Stadiums. I hit at least a dozen out on a 315 fence. The Elder was very hot, I didn't really swing hard. I didn't want to break it and it was lighter than I normally swing. I was also hitting my brand new TOC Miken Ultra 2 Maxload. The Elder hit just as well as any of the senior bats I've hit this year. I wish it would have been a 28oz. By the time I finished BP I had put 100+ swings on the new TOC U2 Maxload. It was starting to open up very nicely. The Elder was hotter but probably has 1000+ swings on it. I'm hoping the new Miken can last that long! When the Elder comes out I will buy one (especially if it comes in an endload model).

since Mr V is being so combative i think i will do a video myself and post it here for all the gang to see, even Dave will have to admit that i hit the ball pretty damm hard and like him i have a cut swing and i hit alot of rise balls that can leave the field in a hurry… so yeah, maybe i should start my own website and do some senior bat reviews …lets see….

This is funny stuff. Add altitude and cool weather and what bat wouldn't perform?

We have a team buy in with Easton and our bats are coming in directly through the rep. I have been told that no stores currently have them in stock.

I am having troubles finding the Easton sp14bsr also. Shipping date is April first week and they cant find a 30 oz. in production. Inside sources were confirming a 30 but cant be found. Hoping the insiders knew.
