What price point would we be talking about, roughly?- $250?

Pretty sure we could have SBF in the model. I have been told that cut welting could be done. Does the color of embroidery matter? I have a ProS217RT here with cream embroidery that looks really nice,

I am thinking to get this done sooner than later. 6 week delivery time from today would be ideal. Will keep you guys posted.

Any 504-6 is going to sell regardless of size (12.5-13). As soon as you put 504 on it, you'll already set yourself apart from the other stores with exclusives. Most of the other places that do exclusives already have a 303 (so its just going to be the same product in a different package) and you'll alsk be competing with Rawlings retail. If they won't stretch out a 504 to the size you want, go conventional back 302-6. Same concept as the 504 and you add a real solid option to the market. The only recent 302s out there are the blonde limited editions and the mesh back. Imagine how many people would have kept their 302CVDM had it not had the mesh. If you have to settle on a 504, imagine how many softball players are parents that have kids playing baseball. The 504 would draw those looking for only 1 glove to switch between sports. You can also count in the smaller high school kids playing OF strongly considering the 504. So you can't really go wrong on between the 302 or 504. Either will sell (and faster than the 303 which tends to end up in stock most places for clearance).

The thread title asks about a 13" glove, but Rawlings does not have a 13" option in the custom line (except the 1b mitts). If you want to do a glove that is one of the existing options, but don't care about the 13" spec, then the 504 is a great choice (for you) as it is not available as a stock glove, only as a custom. Getting them to do a 12.75" or 13" option would make it even more special.

Another 13" option: PRO701BF (one of my all time favorite gloves).

Ok, I was editing that last post before and after a meeting, so a little out of date. I still love that 701.

All tan 504-6 at 12.75" or 13" in Horween or JT tan with split welting and I am in.

I think even a 12.5" 504-6 would sell pretty well.

I don't disagree with this. I was looking for a quality 12.5" glove for a friend and it seems harder to find than a 13" now that the Harpers are everywhere.

Personally though, I'd like to see a 13" HoH just b/c the majority of quality seems to stop 12.75" (aside from Harper and the new Wilson softball single-posts - and they all come in specific color ways that just aren't that appealing to me).

Please recreate a PRO-TB24, Round "R" logo, gray welting, Tan laces and the old school Rawlings Patch on the back. Tan binding would be awesome but not a needed.
    Do for Griffey!

I would love to do something old school but the powers that be insist we keep it to current offerings.

I'd add dark tan laces, Vegas Gold stitching, and scarlet red Rawlings embroidery.

I am thinking if we get the cut grey welting we may have to go with silver stitch and embroidery

While I like the silver on black leather, my vote would be for the vegas gold on tan. Brown stitching is my second fav on tan.

Second the gold stitching on tan, it's subtle but adds to the look

^That. I'll take a true 13", Hweb HOH in a true softball pattern. A la what Wilson has done minus the circus colors (as someone else noted). LHT for me, PayPal ready.

I am actually a fan of some of the crazy coloured gloves!

But i have to say the cleanness and old school vibe of this is making me dig the all tan!

They are not allowing a 504 currently. Want me to do a 303 but do not think I will go that route.

Yeah stick to your guns. It doesn't benefit you to do something that won't sell.

Not a 12.75"-13" 504? Or not ANY 504? Because it is not a stock glove they are making?

How does DMS get them to make PRO12TCs and SPTs?

You wouldn't sell nearly as many. A standard 12.5" 504 would sell way more than a 13" 303. A 302 would sell better than the 303 as well.

I'd go 12.5 504 over 13 of a different pattern. Just my two cents.
