KC is gonna be horrible. They might move the tournament to fields that are 3 hours away from the original fields.

    Is that one this weekend?

Nothing like making a 7 hour drive into a 10 hour drive.

Yep. I would rather not go if that end up being how it is. But it’s a little late now.

Caswell Park started to show a little grass yesterday. Our first official game is April 13th. Still room for the slow pitch tournament as well in June!

Just drove thru there on Wednesday, you can see grass in most areas, but geez is there water around. Unless they get a major snow storm, I'm pretty sure it happens.

Hopefully the tourney is a fun one at least. It'll be nice to play.

Did it start to show a little grass because you were out there snow blowing the outfield? :D

The forecast looks pretty good for a gradual melt then next weekend 50s. I would think by mid April fields should be ok unless we get another big storm or heavy rains, I hope we play Hanover. We are still undecided but I would like to play Hanover. We are in Mound but some guys want to play Rochester instead

They are delaying entries until the weather clears. So if this holds they might give it a run.

Tournament was moved to Wichita. And it’s now just a one day. Gonna be a long weekend.

...oh that'd be a hard no from me.

At least you get to go play some ball, I suppose.

I scheduled one last indoor bp for next week, because it's going to be soggy still for a couple weeks.

It'll be nice to get outside and hit. Everything looks good when you hit inside. So many cage bombs.

Having played indoor since the first week in Jan, I'm looking forward to hitting something other than restricted flight balls.

My pop-ups and sharp grounders will look so sick with a good old 52!

Edit them as much as you want before the tourney. I don't look at them until the tourney is done. Picks game results are a simple process. If it was harder than scrolling and addition, I'd have stopped.

I do look at the "last edited" thing on the posts, though, to make sure none of you guys are cheaters :)

Tough tourney out of gate playing against teams that have 3 or 4 tournies minimum on small fields were D and C teams who have played a bunch are a threat to beat you...plus it costs a good chunk of change to go...

That will be the interesting part of that tourney. Seems like there are always some upsets.

Kind of have to have your **** together quick, because the Florida dual is worth a lot of points in the conference.
