That's true, it is at least the right model of glove, just not the right color leather. I really wanted the black axiom cut GMP500. I already have an older tan GMP 500 (non-axiom with the two piece wrist).

The seller just contacted me, they're sending a replacement glove today along with a return label for the other glove. Hopefully this all goes smooth, fingers crossed.

Nice glove! stitch on the laces is neat

This had the laces. I took them out before taking the pics. The extra row is overkill.

The stitching in the laces and the glove itself is aramid thread. It's Kevlar.

Finally got my glove all sorted out with the seller. Here it is:

It's a Mizuno Pro Limited GMP500AXBK. This has the normal style Axiom wrist instead of the two-piece wrist. I love this glove. Out of the box it naturally wants to close thumb to pinky, though I'll probably break it in more thumb to ring/middle since that's how I like my infield gloves.

I'm kind of torn between traditional and TIP. I never used to play infield TIP but it's nice sometimes at 3B to have a little more protection for your hand. When you're taking a line drive at third you don't always have the luxury of catching the ball right in the pocket, sometimes you have to take it in the palm and TIP helps reduce the pain from that.

Mostly I'm just happy the seller made it right and shipped me the proper glove without making me pay to ship the tan one back first. They included a shipping label in the box to send them back the tan glove. I have a game tomorrow morning and I'd love to be able to use it but I don't think there's any way I can get this thing game ready by then. I'll probably take it and use it during warm ups.

So those web laces won't stretch or break. Cool idea. But I wonder if you're eventually going to wish the web laces would stretch a bit.

I came pretty much laced how most gloves stretch out. I gamed it yesterday, it's phenomenal.

cool mizzys! kinda dumb, but ive always thought it was kinda neat how much stamping is on some of those... its like fitting the terms and conditions or directions for use in random places on the glove. Not really of course, but its neat and makes it unique. Im happy the right one came and all was easy peazy (mizuno Japanesey)!!!

They did that when they moved production to China. I don't believe the Haga gloves have that.

You'll have to google search the number. The auction already ended so the number can't be used to find it on the bay anymore.

I saw this glove, too bad its a fast back. But you cant go wrong for less than $40. especially for a USA Horween. PIAS condition. Def. worth re-lacing this glove, your web is not going to hold for long.

Thank you sir. Just like what fits my hand the best and the variety of leather and patterns that Mizuno has.
