Give the Bomb Squads a couple years and I guarantee you'll get some guys claiming they're as hot as any other year Eastons. They aren't bad bats, but are definitely stiff out of the wrapper. The '16 Kirby is a bit of a sleeper though. Decent swinging stick.

Can't figure out how to or else I would...

All over the "slowpitcheaston" IG page though.

Seems to be called Fire Flex Gold and a 14" Bal bats.

Says "available only at j***bats.com" for now.... But I hear rumours of a Canadian deal as well on these.

Sitting tight, cause the normal FireFlex looks like a child's Walmart alloy bat.

What year bomb squads? I have a '15 baker that has tons of hits, webbing all over and even a nice deep crack. Its nothing special. I have a '15 wegman that finally got some webbing and started developing vertical cracks. it was hot but now has a crack nearly the circumference of the barrel. Cant speak for the newer bomb squads but I hope the '16 Kirby is a sleeper. I picked one up off the bay for 44 shipped.

With all the Helmer Blue and Fire Flex hype and complaints about it being 13.5"

Somehow I knew this was coming....

'16. The year after the Raw Powers. IMO the '16 Kirby is somewhat better than the '15. I won't say either of them are lightning rods, but the '16 Kirby definitely has some life out of the wrapper.

All the bats I refer to are USSSA versions. If I ever refer to an ASA Easton I'll say so. I don't own any ASA Wegmans, Kirbys, Helmers or Bakers anyway.
