What is everybody using the hit the Utrip 52/275? Our league switch to these balls this year, just curious to see what others have had success with.

Utrip is typically the 40/325. Isn't the 52/275 the old NSA ball?

As for what bat to use, with something that squishy the bat won't make much difference.

Any of the newer bats will be good with that ball...

    I’m loving the Miken/Worth, Flex/Fireflex, Z1000, and Twisted Mistress...

For utrip i’ve been gaming my Redknob DC and Encore

...but in our "USSSA" league, we can swing ASA bats also. So I have now switched to hitting my '17 Torch for these crap balls.

compared to asa balls............ they are the same ball man. Legit. Same cor and compression. The technology to make balls within a 25 lb compression window is not out there yet. Literally the exact same balls as asa. but you think they are different. yeah, I'll forgive you for being ignorant on this. Mr. Needsworkonhisswing

well you were ignorant on the balls so I assume you are ignorant on swings too. But yeah, guys with good swings don't ***** about the ball, they are still the best hitters out there. Guys who make excuses are composite heros, and truly do need to work on their swing. Don't feel bad, you arent alone, you just got too used to technology doing the work instead of getting better. Typical stuff these days.

And by me "lying" about trying to return a broken bat with a fake receipt means that I don't know how to swing a bat and that I can't hit the mush balls.

    Riiighht. Exactly my point.

All of my ASA bats do very well against these balls, my 2018 Utrip psycho feels like I'm hitting a tennis ball, i'm thinking about getting a Salvo SRV 4, had one and sold it at the end of the season last year, it wasn't getting much use. I'm thinking it might do better against these softer balls versus the new line Utrip bats which appeared to be designed for the standard, harder Utrip balls.

Swing whatever you would normally swing. They aren't pillows. Unless you are an awful hitter, 52's shouldn't affect you.
