Vinci Optimus wrist strap to big

My hand which is a normal size just slips through the wrist strap. I believe I got it cinched down about as tight as it can be and yet still my hands just want to slip out.

Anything I can do?

Think I found a unspectacular work around.. Atraditional wrist band tie off, foregoing the wrap over the flap and just directly into the last adjustment holes.
