I have been coaching my daughters slow pitch team for the past 8 years. Fastpitch wasn't offered when we started her career! The young ladies are all 16 and 17 now and are a very good group. I just started helping out with the Fastpitch program this season. We currently have a couple of teams in both the U10 and U12 along with a U14 squad. We still do not have it at our school, but it looks like we will for the 2013 season. They transitioned from slowpitch to Fastpitch very well. Unfortunately our pitching is the main issue. All of our squads are struggling in this department! It's coming along, but not as fast as I had hoped. All the teams in our league are in the same boat though. It's new for everyone. Definitely a pitchers game!
