Again - if you hold weighting issues constant, wouldn't you want the "best" bat even if you suck. I don't understand how a worse bat, with the same weighting parameters, would be better.

Outside of the weighting differences, the "best bat" at each weighting would presumably work for most people. I just don't get the sentiment of 'this bat works for me' despite lower exit velocity (or however you measure a bat).

This isn't true. I am pretty sure almost all of them are able to be replicated in the custom glove builder. Both I own (Hanley and Soler) can be built in the glove builder.

Sorry, I meant 2B only. And I disagree, only when the player has a large amount of time do they cross the bag (typically). It is significantly slower to have your legs move than to remain stationary. Like this: Obviously each player has their own preference and style, and not everyone does...
