ahhhh ok. Yeah all I know is we have MULTIPLE leagues near us, probably 4 and all of these fields will be bigger, with taller fences. Just not sure how they are going to attract much with "real" fields around. Oh and it is Pay to Play and needs to sustain itself financially. At those dimensions...

How deep are the fences though. We have a field here that is 290 and people cant keep the ball in the park it is terrible.

My town is building 2 new softball fields, putting a ton of money into it. We found out they are going to be 280 feet in distance and only 4 foot high fences. Does anyone play leagues at a field like this or find any use? I am pretty positive the idea of ASA, NSA, GSL, or any sanctioned...
