Which is it?
When grampa played, if you could "compete" in a class above, whether you actually won or lost games, you were in that class. Or a D team winning a couple games in a C tourney gets bumped automatically, etc.
So Heartland isn't allowed to play McQuades but the Box is?
But most of Heartland can go play in a 35+ tourney at McQuades vs players who are older, slower and less competitive?
Seems smart.
With the "bump" rules put in place there will soon be more and more B teams, C teams, D etc correct? If that's the case forget about the open division and this tourney will always be B/C combined.
It is quite possible that instead of "being excited to win C" they actually just want to play softball and not have to drive 7-8 hours to get a tournament in.
Yeah but softball really isn't that interesting:
*Who are some of the best teams?
*what are predictions for (insert tourney here).
*congrats to (insert team here). Great group of guys.
Most of it is all lies. But no one will say it without an alias:
*(insert name here) from...
I do like the separation as well just sucks for the top X number of teams not to get a chance to play. Odd year for you guys I guess, but growing pains are expected too.
