Yeah it was the young ump later on on the east diamond. Just kept trying to push the pace of the game except we had a 5 min break while we waited to get more balls

applebees. lost to big stix and the family yesterday. the last game we played the ump rushed everything to get the game over quick so there were alot of bad calls. the score wasnt even right and even the other team agreed.

Well after reviewing the rules I was reading an old rule. The 2012 rules say that if the whole foot is outside the box and not touching the line the it is ruled as a dead ball

Actually the batters box only applies when the ball is pitched. After it is pitched you can step anywhere inside or out of the box except for home plate.
