I only play coed. Men's league and men's tournaments had 10x the bull-horse-pucky than coed ever did.

If I can tell you anything, it's to do your PT properly, and realize that it's never done. Even once you're healthy, consistent work on shoulder strength and stability will keep you pain free, and probably have you throwing better than ever.

This isn't even close to true...if it were, everybody would just endload their bats instead of shaving them. Some grad student from Washington University did a somewhat exhaustive study of shaved/rolled/endloaded bats. The shaved bats were head and shoulders above the rest. Average increase...

I had a capsular plication in November 2006 to repair a very stretched out shoulder capsule. My arm would come out of the shoulder socket regularly and randomly, and I had severe nerve pains and numbness when the bone would move and push on my nerves...

More BS. A small metal sleeve with threads and an endcap with the related mechanism would add cents to the cost of each bat. If you're curious about what I'm talking about, go take the gas cap or oil cap off your car and look at the mechanism. It is nothing but spring-loaded metal "wings"...

That is total, complete, utter BS. Sorry. It would be VERY easy, and very safe, to have a system like you see on gas, oil, and coolant caps in cars. Threaded, but with a locking mechanism so it can't pop out. You would probably just need a metal ring embedded in the composite at the end...

I don't quite agree with this. I've swung a large number of top-of-the-line composite under the sun over the course of the last 5 years (thanks bat-prostitute friends!!), and I've never left PSTs because I've never found a bat that I hit as well with. The thing is, ultimately bat choice comes...
