2014 Derby Boys USSSA crack?

Took 20 swings and noticed this. Would you consider this a crack, or should I keep swinging it?

Paint...................Verticals are fine.
You know....you really dont have to bp these that much.

Mine did the same, Just the paint cracking under compression. Means you hitting it nice and hard.

Maybe 20-30 more - keep rotating then put away till game time.

Not sure about the Utrip but my ASA was pretty ehh til about 100 swings. Opened up quite nicely from there.

All of my UTrips have opened up much faster than their ASA counterparts. I'm not 100% on the Portent as I haven't gotten to hit the ASA outside yet, but for all other models where I've had both that's been the case.

My ASA portent is showing signs of wear at about 150. UTrip Protent had similar crack to above pic after 40 or so cuts.

So maybe the ASA are slower to open up
