2015 Juggy Actual Scale Weights....

My J3A 27 scales at 27.2
My 2014 Juggy 27 scales at 27.0
My CL22A Cluggy 27 scales at 27.0
My Insan3 27.5 scales at 27.0

None of the above bats are what I consider to be "underweight". If I got a 2015 Juggy 27 that was less than 26.5 ounces, I'd be saying "WTF". use whatever reason or excuse you like, but if it scales light it's light

Every Juggy or J3A I've had has been under sticker weight... My insane is under sticker weight. My CL's are under sticker weight. Only bats that ever scale on sticker or over are AM's that I've seen... Basically every end-loaded bat I've had in the last 3 years has been under sticker... To the point where I don't even weigh them no more cause I just know that's how there gonna be....

And I have a major bat problem cause I'll own almost every weight throughout a season. I change weights more then I do boxers it seems! Lol

Now I'm not saying yours aren't just giving you info I was told and my experience with them.

I read this post and put my 27oz 15' Juggy on the scale....

then I put my 26oz 14' mercy on the scale...

both have stock grips... both have identical grip-n-rips... just sharing info... no complaints here...
thought it was kinda funny though...

Even when they correct them they'll all still be under weight. OnlySolo is correct that DeMarini does everything off of swing weight. Larsen told me this like 3 years ago. It's not bad QC 3 years in a row if they all come in under weight. Btw my 26oz weighs 24.3 w/ taped grip and feels exactly like a 26oz in hand and on a dry swing... It also feels more end-loaded then my boys (which he just got) and his weights 25.4 with tape and is a 26oz...

yea it feels more endloaded cause there is no weight in the handle

Yep...just got a 27 15 juggy and it weighs 25.60..... but does not feel that lite with the endload feel. It has way more load than my 14 juggies, stadium, one.12 per table test. Don't really like my bats this lite but the endload makes up for it;) It's defentily missing all its handle weight

and i bet the ones ASA tested had a weight in the handle. removing that weight from the handle i'm sure changes the dynamics of the bat. adding weight to the handle is what ASA did to recertify bats when they were trying to get some back under the 98mph limit when they changed the testing in 2004

Got a 27 oz '15 Juggy last week that weighed in at 25.5 oz. I called customer service and sent it back. They're aware of the missing handle weight issue. Gotta say this is some awful QC on DeMarini's part, and I don't appreciate having to wait for my bat to travel to Oregon and back now.

All 3 of my '14 Juggy's and both my J3a's scaled within .3 of 27 oz.

The few 27oz 15 Juggy's on my league team feel identical to the 27oz 14 Juggys we have.

^^^or even within 0.5oz off sticker weight? Half ounce could be acceptable, but more than an ounce is just silly.

I have a 28oz '14 and '15 juggy waiting for me at home. It'll be a few weeks before I get back but I'll post my findings once I get the chance.

I guess......

Now a days with all this weight change of bats i think the best thing to do is just postal scale weight the bats and just get something close to what you hit. Thats what i did with my juggy. So the sticker on the knob to me now it has no meaning.... Thats just me...

So what do you do, buy 4 versions on the same bat weigh them and then return the others? That's the whole purpose of putting the weight on the bat! This is stupid. I would expect this from a new company but not from Demarini.

^^^ I know a LOT of people who when they call to order a bat, ask for a few to be weighed and get a weight closest to XX.X..............
