2020 Wilson SP135?

Is there any difference between the 2020 and the 2018 model?

I realize this is an old thread, but are there any noticeable differences between the 2018 and 2020 SP135?
There is a store that has the 2018 Black/Grey but I would need for them to ship to me.

I have not seen either the 2018 or 2020 in person and I am hoping them to be similar to my current 3 year old 1799,
but just a little larger in length and deeper wider pocket.

They are not similar to the 1799 in hand stall size or glove shape. 1799 has a wider pocket. The SP135 has the tightest hand-stall on anything I’ve tried larger than 13”. (I wear XL batting glove)

Is this the black/grey colorway you're referring to? I just picked this up and wasn't sure of the year. The handstall is smaller than the 1799.

I went ahead and ordered the 2018, it has the H web as pic.

I ended up getting it for $275cnd, not sure if that is a great deal?
But if I do not like it the store will take it back and refund with me paying for return shipping.

The pic does look like it should have a big deep pocket compared to the way the pics look for the 2020 model.
I wear a Large for batting glove, hopefully the hand stall will work for me.

I will update after I have the glove in front of me

As promised, here is an update.
While I was waiting for the 2018 SP135 to arrive I went and ordered the Wilson 2020 A2000 Slowpitch SP13SS 13".
It arrived a couple days ago, and then today the 2018 SP135 arrived.

First, the SP13SS:
Very tight hand stall, my hand fits but it is snug.
It has only 4 loops in the heel.
Leather is very nice and typical of the A2000, very similar to my Black/Red/Blue A2000, 1799.
I am not sure what the "Softball" pattern really means, the size and depth of pocket is maybe smaller than my A2000.
I am sure the pocket will get bigger and deeper after broken in, still not sure it will get to be like my "just" broken in A2000.
Compared to my A2K, 1799... not even close, mind you my A2K is well broken in and has been gamed for a good 3 years.
Verdict, it is going go back as a return!

Now, the 2018 SP135:
Hand stall is no where as tight as the SP13SS, even thought it also has only 4 loops in the heel.
Not remotely close to how loose my A2K fits , but a little closer to how my A2000 fits.
The leather almost seems halfway between mt A2K and A2000, not a bad thing.
The pattern on this SP135 does seem more softball'sh and it is definitely longer than my A2K.
I think the pocket depth should develop nicely once it get broken in.
Since I still have not seen the 2020 version of the SP135, I still cannot answer my original question but I am
not unhappy with this 2018 version.
Verdict, the 2018 SP135 is going to stay and over the course of the winter I hope to have it ready to game by the spring.

Thanks for that review. I am almost positive the 2020 is same as the 2018 and who wants white?

I do like the Black and Grey of this 2018...No White for me!

I am not really a fan of Hanley Ramirez or Boston for that mater, but I really do like the color way on my A2000 HR13GM.

Just to throw a wrinkle, on the Wilson custom builder they have a sp14, with the a standard h web like the 1799, almost looks like a bigger 1799, I wish I could see one for comparison

Yes I saw that guy as well, this could be an option if this 2018 SP135 does not break into the way I am hoping.
"almost looks like a bigger 1799"... that is exactly what I was really hoping for!

Anyone have an SP14? How does the quality and feel compare to any smaller a2000? I've got an ELO-B that is working well for me now 75% INF and 25% OF. I like the ELO-B in the INF (at 3rd) and as I near 35 years old going bigger in the OF looks good to me.
