Other Base coach interference/obstruction

I know these questions are usually for softball, but I've got a little league one here.
Man on first, batter singles to right, runner goes first to third. Right fielder overthrows 3rd base. The ball caroms off the fence and rolls next to 3B coach's feet. The coach doesn't move. 3B has to reach between coach's legs, then move to the side to try to throw out the runner who is now going home.
Obviously a Richard move by coach for not trying to get out of the way (of course little league dads).
But is there a rule here that the coach must make an attempt to get out of the way? No call was made by the umpires.

A base coach needs to vacate any area needed by a fielder to make a play. What you describe sounds like it could have been ruled interference.

Many people think that if the coach stands in one spot, or if he's inside the coaching box, that it's not interference. And they would be wrong!

Not to mention kinda creepy for even letting the kid reach through his legs and/or be anywhere in the vicinity of said Richard.

Ha! True.
And, by the way, you'd think instinct would tell you to get out of the way. The fact that he didn't makes it pretty obvious that it was intentional.
