Baseball 3B Wilson Patterns 1781 vs PRO200's

I have tried over and over to find an infield baseball A2000 that I like the feel of. I don't like the 1786, 1787, EL3, DW5, or 1721. I have a TF21 that I use for softball SS and really like that pattern. Was thinking about trying a 1781. I currently, and pretty much always have, used a PRO200/206 at 3B, but I like the Wilson customizer options, so I am dying to find a pattern I like. For what it's worth, I just hate the way the patterns above close. Many of them feel too much like an NP or 217 pattern, and Wilson's I find play really narrow. The 1781 seems to be more square like a PRO200... Is that accurate? I've only had one 1781 in the past, it was a pro issue from late 90's, so I'd assume the die's have changed some.

The custom 1781 I have is the opposite of an np pattern. Wide and deep. It will only work for hardball if you like a big glove at 3b. I’ve used one at 3rd (as well as 2nd which was absurd) for two seasons and really like it, but did find it to be really big. It’s a great pattern though, and gets wide and deep and closes thumb to ring or pinky.

The tf21 is supposedly a 1781 with an hweb, so it should feel and play similarly, maybe not as deep and wide with the iWeb, but probably pretty close

I'm curious what do you like about the TF21 that you didn't like about the 1721? I emailed Wilson about the comparison once and they said it's the same model, just the "TF" being a pro issue version of the 1721. Which was confusing to me because I thought the 1721 came later than the TF21...

The TF21/TDFTHR and 1721 are different patterns. Directly from Ryan Smith when asked the difference between the TDFTHR and 1721: "Size and depth of pocket. TDFTHR is deeper."

I like the TF21 because of its depth/length and how it closes thumb to ring. The 1721 I ordered was a "classic" Wilson closing thumb to middle/index which I cannot stand.

If I'm not mistaken the TF21 and TDFTHR are basically just 1781's with H-webs. I owned a 1780 Pro issue, and it felt exactly like an H-Web 1781.

I game a 1781PI for softball infield, I won't go into how many I have, but I have a couple of backups. I also have a vintage 1781 Pro Issue that I restored that I would get rid of. Let me know.
