I am looking for a new winter bat. I don't want to hurt my 454 in cold weather. Whats is everyone favorite ASA winter bat?

OG Catty has great durability and real good if you can get it to break-in.

My three votes in no order: Catty, Maniac 484, and Creature...They seem to actually have more pop in cold temps IMO

I love my Recoil, especially in the cold. I have a couple extra I may be parting with.

get a mizuno envy, that bat is a tank and when it cracks supposedly it is a beast. I have had mine since it came out and primarily use it for cold bp sessions now and with well over 2k hits it still performs.

pre-abi mikens (freak98, recoil, nrg), og juggernaut, catty, pre-abi eastons (scn5, 8, 9, 11bh). all relatively inexpensive bats, very durable, with high-end performance, especially in the cold.

Oooh damn, can't believe I forgot my beloved F98/Recoils/NRG's! Would still swing the catty, only good time to swing it...

Our winter league is wood bats. But we still bp anything since daytime temps are still in the 70s.

SCX3 is my favorite for any weather. They do sting a bit if you miss hit in the cold, but they can take it. SRV4 is also a good cold weather bat.

Over $100- SCN5 or Juggy, under $100- Techfire Rage or Classic. If you want metal then any of the older Anderson's or EST's. PST's are tanks too but I've never personally used one.
