I'm from the west side and haven't encountered pitching nets before, outside of BP. I understand that the further east you go, the more common they become and, therefore, acceptable it is.
Here's what I'm asking: from an offensive standpoint, do you find them disruptive? And defensively, do you like having the middle shut down like that, removing the pitcher as a defensive position until the ball has been played by another defensive player?
