ASA does run score

1 out, runners on 1st and 2nd, batter hits a ball into the OF for a double, runner on 2nd scores runner from 1st is tagged out sliding into 3rd for the 2nd out, the defense then appeals that the batter/runner missed 1st base, umpire calls the B/R out for the 3rd out .. does the run score?

I know if there had been 2 outs when the batter hit the double and if he missed 1st that no runs would score on the appeal and 3rd out call, but with 1 out and then the out at 3rd being the 2nd out and then the appeal now being the 3rd out, is this now considered a time play?

No runs may score if the third out is made as a result of a batter-runner being called out prior to reaching first base.

And yes, an appeal on the batter-runner missing first falls under this category.

No runs score, change ‘em up, boys.

I would go with this as well. Technically the batter-runner was forced out at 1st after the tag at 3rd. The batter never reached 1st safely in this.
