20 Hits each. 52's with a few 44's. Field pic attached.
Points are related to distance using 3pts over fence, 2pts hitting fence and 1pt one hoppers to fence.

Gamers currently are WC, Nitrous, Helmer BB, and TPS
After 20 swings each here is the breakdown.

HR in ( ) and the final value

West Coast 28oz (11) = 40
Nitrous 28oz (10) = 36
Helmer BB 28.5 (10) = 35
Backlash 28oz (6) = 22
TPZ EL 28oz (6) = 22
Crush 28oz (6) = 21
TPS 27.5oz (4)= 21
Zombie 27oz (4) = 20
Pitbull 28oz (4) = 19
Dually 28oz (2) = 16

Most HR's was West Coast with longest shot pictured as well. Nitrous and Helmer both competed well. The Helmer feel wise is my favorite and it is gas right now. Have a feeling that it will fail compression for some reason. TPS just didnt fair as well.

As for the contenders, Backlash came strong in final 6 swings to pull into the 4th place tie with the Canadian TPZ EL, both have about close to 200 swings. Crush ASA with only about 50 swings is impressive. The Pitbull has only 20 so far and with another 30 or more it will be get to what the Nitrous is if not more. Zombie started out slow as well. Dually has improved but as seen it's got ways to go and is my current gate crasher.

Will record another round in another week with another selction of bats of 20 swings.

Have nothing better to do besides some outlaw ball since NJ hasn't allowed league play.

2nd Round Contenders Vs Gamers
The Gold Nihilist came out hot of the gate and landed into 2nd Place overall. Portent showing why its underrated with performance that doesn't quit. The TPZ Balanced hit longest with approximate 340' this round. Wasn't planned but the 22 a Day finished with 22 points. Most of these bats have quite a bit more hits than the 1st Round of contenders and their placement shown in ranking.

20 swings each

West Coast 28oz (11) = 40
Gold Nihilist 28oz (10) = 38
Nitrous 28oz (10) = 36
Helmer BB 28.5 oz (10) = 35
Portent 28oz (10) = 32
Flipper 28oz (9) = 32
TPZ Bal 28oz (7)= 31
Blueline 28oz (7) = 30
DNA 27.5oz (6) = 24
Backlash 28oz (6) = 22
TPZ EL 28oz (6) = 22
22ADay 28oz (3) = 22
Crush 28oz (6) = 21
T3 Boss 28oz (4) = 21
TPS 27.5oz(4)= 21
Zombie 27oz(4) = 20
Pitbull 28oz (4) = 19
Dually 28oz (2) = 16

Off to Round 3....

Off to Round 3....

I like that your doing this, I have tried to do something like this myself, but I haven't perfected the scoring formula due to so many variables. Mostly because I don't know what my ultimate goal is, sometimes I do HRs, sometimes I just score hard line drives...Anyways, I was wondering if you do all these swings over a few days, or all at one time? I find that I'm not fair to the bats that I hit with last because of the inevitable fatigue at about 150 or so swings, my mechanics are lazy at that point.

Usually about 60 to 80 swings. 6 to 10 each bat.
Started Round 3 after some live BP yesterday. The numbers seemed a bit off the pace of the 1st and 2nd rounds.

Also usually hit a bat that needs work first to warm up before starting.

If NJ doesn't open up soon I might look to start a TDerby Challenge with some fellas.

Yeah, I found doing them in shifts was a good idea as well, and I also do the break in a bat warm up, takes me a good 20 swings to really loosen up these days. One of my other issues is that my bats are all different weights, so sometimes I take 3 or 4 swings with each one before I keep count so I can adjust. It just adds to the too many swing issue though...

Anyways, it is tough to really make a fair comparison unless they are all the same balls and same weight bats. Have you noticed a difference in distance between the 44s and 52s? I haven't tried with 44s because my Mikens seem to like cracking.

Yeah all have different swing counts but found it a fun thing to do. Plus it's my workout routine since work hours have been insane since pandemic.

As for 44's, some I won't swing @ all with them. Tanks like Boombah, Omega, the Flipper, Anarchy Xcore bats can handle. Distance varies but the Anarchy and Omega hit them just as good as the 52's.

Will post Contenders Round 3 shortly as I just finished up.

Dually 28oz (2) = 16

3rd Round Contenders vs. GAMERS

DB new in wrapper 1st 20 swings. Will need another 50 or more to get to Goldy. HELMER Flex 12 swings not much but last 8 hit 5 dingers. Omega Dual Stamp hanging well with the ASA and best bat for 44's amongst them all. Firestick starting to open up with line drives dancing and longest distance against these this round. Boss a tank and with 30 oz gives me that extra nudge to compete. EST balance new in wrapper with loose pebble sound after 2o swings
Well the Gold Nihilist gains entry into the gamer bag knocking out the TPS.

Will continue to work the bats and plan to do it again in the fall.

It took quite a bit of hits to really say I love it. Northern NJ loves Monsta and they do perform. But since they don't make many 28 oz bats glad I didn't give up on it. Last 3 years just became the dominant bat for me.
