anyone else have issues with them ripping extremely fast. Literally had 1 rip after 1 hit and others rip after a few hits.

Yea they rip pretty easy down here mostly due to foul balls of fences, homeruns etc. Play alot at perris bld and we constantly get ripped or torn balls every game

I hit them off the end cap all the time and have never ripped one. That's weird.

The first few batches here a few years ago were horrid. you could almost look at them wrong and they'd rip LOL Any hit near the end cap or a fence shot would slice them wide open, even brand new ones

I've been hitting these for a few years now and honestly, they are pretty durable. I don't recall having an issue with the cover ever ripping.

We've only been playing it for a couple of years so it may just be older models. I've never had an issue with the extremes.

I know this isn't a GSL ball, but this is what happens when you use composite covered balls on very hard/sandy infields. This ball probably got hit twice and was done for.
