Just came in! 13" Pro Select got off the auction site for under $65
First impressions is its a big glove (compared to my LS Flare 1275) and is STIFF as a board! This is my first new bought glove so I'm not going to get into any particulars due to the fact that I don't know anything about gloves other than how to put it on and catch (protect myself as a pitcher!) I'm excited to start the break in process because I've never had a new glove to break in!

Got a H Web coming with yellow gold laces from GSmith!

Any questions or comments or advice are welcome!
Here some porn for ya!

Congrats, you are gonna enjoy that glove. They put up a fight breaking in, but I helped my friend get his broken in using the aso method and it is breaking in beautifully. Def share pictures when you get the web swapped

Actually, I took the trap off and conditioned the glove real good with Nokona Conditioner and put it back in the bag it came in. Sitting in my basement currently waiting on the web and lace... Hopefully that comes soon! I'm actually excited to start playing some couch catch!

Playing some baseball right now (both infield corners) and picked up a 12" mod trap and a 1st base mitt. Leather is stiff on these bad boys! I am going to have to change out the laces though, just too thin but for the price point :thumb:

dont put anything else on it bro
Wasn't planning on it! My next plan is to beat it up with a ball mallet! And hopefully get some good old catch in!

Ordered the web tuesday, anyone know how long GS takes to ship?

Any additional feedback you have on the 1st base mitt is appreciated - I'm thinking of getting one to work out with my daughter and her FP friends - big enough for a 12" ball?

The first base mitt is definitely big and deep enough for softball. They do not have a lot of padding so depending on how much padding you like that may be a factor. I thought they were fine padding wise but my buddy thought otherwise.

This is gonna be my Spring Training glove :p

Should be here by the weekend and hopefully the pocket can get nice and deep relatively quickly using a cannonball ...
Gonna try hard to make this work, so I'll be chiming in periodically

You just have to use a square knot. Dirty30 shows you how at the 4:45 mark in this video.

That color combo is going to look sweet! I'm reconsidering getting a Spalding 1B to get one of these and do what you're doing!

you gotta work some infinity style looping around the middle bar. the top should be done like any other glove you have laying around. should be from the tops of the fingers and the web piece should go through the tunnel.
