Incrediball-What type of bat

I just started playing with my girlfriends family coed league and they use the incrediball. First time ever playing with a sponge. Do I stick with my composites or find some alloy? Any recommendations on bats?

Doesn't matter, really. I guess a metal bat might be better just because of the lack of flex.
Should be a fun league since nobody has to worry about serious injuries.

i agree that stiffer bats seem to help a little as well as heavier. Defense is a little more interesting sometimes with the bounces and hops as well

I don't think the bat will make much difference. The key to hitting an Incrediball is hitting it square. Hit it off center and it will deform and not fly far. Hit dead center, and it'll fly well, or get where it's going in a hurry. Yeah, they take crazy bounces. The homeschool softball league my kids played in used Incrediballs. Some of the teenagers would hit them a long way.
