My number changes each year to match my age....last year 42...next year 43, etc, etc. I just try to make sure my waist doesn't match my shirt number as that tends to be a problem

I wear 23 because my favorite player growing up was Eric Karros and Kirk Gibson is one of the greatest dodgers in history.

I wear 31 for Mike Piazza, he was my favorite Dodger when I was in little league, my favorite player at the time was Ken Griffey Jr. but 24 was taken. So 31 stuck

Nice!!! I was to young to know Kirk when I chose my number, but Piazza beat out Karros by just a bit. They were My 2 favorite when I was a kid.

Always worn different numbers. Used to be 24 for Griffey, 10 for Kordell Stewart, then 11 because I thought it looked cool, then I gave that up to an older dude on the team and got 10 back about 4 years ago. Been my number ever since. Dont ever wanna wear a different number again.

I'm serious. Surly, temperamental, cheating *******. But the man could play, and he could hit the living **** out of a baseball. I loved this guy growing up. I didn't care that he was a jerk. Through all his faults, he played hard, he mashed, he produced. I actually liked his pissed off, f you attitude. So I wore #8 because of him, how touching.

8 was taken in college so I switched to 9, not bad at all.

I go for 8 first, then 9, if they aren't available I'll take anything 1-99, don't really care tbh.

Charlie Hustle was my favorite player growing up. I've wore 14 almost as long as I can remember with a few exceptions...always a multiple of 7 though.

I've been #23 since my senior year in high school. Used to be #22 but when I switched schools someone else already had 22 so I took 23 and haven't changed it since.

I wear 00. It is the Commanding Officer's airplane in a Marine or Naval Aviation unit, affectionately refered to as double nuts.

ha, I'm number 8 too. Wore it most of my life because a lot of HOFers were #8, but I was #9 for one year in high school too.

00 that's what my dad wore as long as I can remember. I got on a team one year and it was taken so I got 0 . I told him it was because I was half the player he was. Still remember the smile he gave me.

I wear #6 for 2 of my favorite athletes. Xavi wears #6 for Barcelona and Iniesta wears #6 for Spain I'll also wear #8 because Iniesta wears #8 for Barcelona and Xavi wears #8 for Spain.
