ummmm did you happen to notice that it tested way higher than all other bats and was still going up when he removed it from the machine. I guess he meant hot as in the newest thing on the market that was selling at the mws

Maybe because there is another reason that somebody might use a bat that tests that high and looks pretty new. Could be the fact that its a hottie and once a few swings gets on it, its on fire. So the player uses it and by the end of the day, its a lightning rod and probably wont pass the test again.

If this was a big tourny, most guys arent gonna use a bat that isnt close to broken in.

But thats only one theory the tester would say that.

Alright fellas Here's the story with the bats that I swung at the World Series..... I was told in last August that my next year's bat was going to be released in December, And that they (Miken) were gonna try and rush to get a few done for Disney for me to swing for marketing purposes. My initial thought was "Sweet, I'll be swinging a brand new model that no one has even seen yet!" My next thought was "Man I hope I like it, The last thing i want is to have a bad tourney this is the biggest tourney of the year!" Nonetheless I received (4) bats via FedEx Wednesday morning the same day that the World Series started. Myself and Izzy had a photo shoot that morning, And I put roughly 30 swings on 2 different bats that morning. They felt very good right out of the wrapper, Just like my 2013 model. I happen to have a very good weekend with the new stick.

The video above was of the bats being tested Sunday morning. At that point the bat I was swinging had roughly 100 swings on it from BP and games with Stadium ZN's.

I have put roughly 500 swings on the same bat that I used at disney over the last month, And when I tested it last Tuesday it tested 270! I know people form their own opinion about things. The bat(s) I swung at the major were 100% stock and NOT altered in anyway.

I hope this answers the questions that some of you may have. Can't wait for 2014 to get here!
