Maybe a silly question but what are some of your favorite d tourneys to play in? I guess atmosphere and payouts or distance is important.

For teams that run beer bust, question for ya....If you give 10 tickets to each player to sell, do you charge the player for unsold tickets? I never have, but curious as to what others do. Thanks. We do have a commitment fee as well.

Average, at best
I'm guessing there lack of post season had something to do with it

Whenever Boettner is pitching Lookout/Palm Breeze is a really good team. He hasn't been there for over a season and a half, I feel like, and they've sort of been around a couple times but not nearly as much.

I once had to pay for any unsold tickets. I don’t drink. I don’t socialize in bars. I just bought the 10 tickets and handed them out to people while they walked in. That was my only year on that squad.

I think if that type of fundraiser you run, be a little supportive to those like me, that don’t like the idea.

Don’t get me started on casino runs.

I only had 1 team that did a beer bust, and no you didnt have to buy the 10 tickets, but they asked you to either put in an effort or to bring some sort of raffle prizes to help.

I get where Pont is coming from on this as I dont drink either, fortunately I have enough friends that make up for it.

However it was funny to see guys fight over who got credit for the someone when they walked in the door and didnt have a ticket and bought one

Side note of all the fundraisers I have done Bowling is the best and golf is second on my list

Zero effort would be put in by 50% of the guys so it wasn't fair. We cancelled all fundraisers and just raised our team fee"s.
I would say it's about 25% of our guys, we usually make over 2k, so it's hard for me to stop doing it. I think this is the first year we have someone on our squad who doesn't drink, and to be honest didn't really ever think about that. So thank you guys for opening up my eyes to that.
Usually the guys that didn't sell their tickets, I made them sell the tip boards and raffle tickets. Somewhat equals out

He's good until he gets hit. He usually stops them, even with his bare hand, but when he gets drilled.. he's done lol

I'm guessing you're why hass moved to the OF :)
No idea, I'll play where ever they need me to play, I've always prided my-self an being able to play about 7 different positions on the diamond but have pitched more and more over the last couple. Glad to be home for 2018. Just got tired of all of the travel with out of state conference teams from Indiana and Michigan/Florida.

Sounds like there should be some good B/C utrip teams this year. That'll make the tourneys fun.

Omg Philly fans actually ate horse crap off the streets last night. What is wrong with them? My God......
On 1500 today, they mentioned that the guy made an adjustment to his scarf to make sure that didn't go in the ****...but then he ate ****.

At least it didn't get on his scarf, I guess.

Did you guys pick up Jamie Johnson too slim? I heard Novak and Johnson where a package deal
That I don't know, it would make sense being novak is good friends with Jamie and Novak is with us for sure. Other than that hoping for some warmer weather, I'll hit outside all winter down to about 20 degrees, but when was the last time it was even 20 degrees :)
