New Guy, New Year, New Bat (CL22 Pinky)

Well after years of playing with out having my own bat I finally took the plunge. One of my neighbors is a semi-pro player and recommend the cl22, so I have a 28oz CL22 Pinky on the way.

Previously my bat of choice was a 27/28?oz PST then a 28 Izzy Psycho.

Excited to get some cuts on it! What're the reviews on this bat with 52s?

They're incredibly hot bats, really surprised they are underrated instead of overhyped. I got the 28oz and they're definitely not as end loaded as either of your previous bats, more of a Jeff Hall type .5oz end load IMO.

Cluggy,USA AFTERMATH,CL22 PINKY. I am set for 2015 and these bats crush the 52's.

I'm really surprised at how versatile they are, seems like they perform really well with all balls. Not used to feeling a bat performs well with 52's vs another bat.

Very true about performing well with all balls. Straight out of the wrapper I was putting 52's 330' with the pinky. Great stick and very underrated.

Doubt it, pm Bird25 and he can tell you how the 30 is. He has experience them and most other 30's, should have a good idea of how it compares.

I've also hit a 30 oz and the endload isn't too bad. It just feels like a 29 or 30 oz bat but I didn't think it was a sledgehammer.

30 cl22 will be very close to the 28 IZZY.

Which pst are you swinging?

I dont remember what it was, it was an old one... May have even been a 27oz max? It was really hot.

Like i said ive never really been fully committed to a bat, just had some i would gravitate towards on the rack. After the PST cracked i used a Reload 27.5 for a while then last year i started with a balanced worth 454 27 that was too light and went to the Izzy.

I think it'll be alright, especially since ill be playing mostly after work so it'll be easier to get around. If not, i'm sure i can trade it.

I got one when they were on sale and can't wait to use it. How is this going to compare to a flyswatter? I was using it in my USSSA/ASA league and it worked pretty well with the 52/300 balls
