New to Combats

Ok guys just picked up an AV and really like the feel of it and it's smoking the ball already. I normally like an endloaded bat but the one I found for the right price was balanced but heavier than I normally swing so it seems to feel ok to me.
That all being said I am swinging and MV-1 in my Friday night Utrip league and have a feeling that its not going to last much longer from how hot it's gotten and the way its sounding. I would like to find a Combat to see how it compares to my MV-1 and see if their Utrip lines is as good as their ASA line. Can you Combatants give me some insight on what is some of their better Utrip bats that will feel and produce as well for Utrip as the AV does for ASA?

the jmac plague is a bit softer than the mv-1. derby boys is a more stiff but swings great. being a miken user myself i would give the DB. i have used/owned a few combats (GS, DS, and plague, just got a wood in the mail today but havent swung it) and the DB swings the most like a miken to me.

Thanks, was trying to pick up a Plague.

this is one of the nicest looking bats i have owned!

I am sure it looks good in person but in the pic to me it looks like kind too fake.

Plague Virus is a nice bat and is comparable to the MV-1 maybe about the same feel when the MV-1 is fully broken in...

You can't judge a bat by it's looks!!! Personality counts too!!
Sometimes it's all a matter on what's on the inside.

yea i got one of the bass bats and it pink lol everyone ask u swing that , i just say i dont care what it looks like aslong as it hits good.

Gs is hot as fire but has durability issues so can be found for pretty cheap. The DS Plague is really good swings stiffer than the normal plague but is suppose to get just as hot. The DB is no warranty but suppose to be crazy durable and suppose to be the stiffest Combat on the market. Haven't swung a regular plague so can't say to much but suppose to be really hot.

All of Combat's utrip offerings since the OG Virus came out are very, very good; what matter's most is finding the one that fits your swing the best. If you want something that feels/swings just like your AV, then get the OG Virus. If you want something that will feel more like your MV-1, get the DB. Simple as that.
