I’ve been a fan of Marcus’ work for a while, and leveraging some retail therapy during a particularly hard spot placed some more of his work in my gear bag.
A few observations on details you won’t see listed that you notice in the first 30 seconds.
-The pocket is Medium Deep.
-Laces are fresh and unwaxed. Skiving is also spot on.
-Notice the finger tips and then go look at the tips on an HoH or A2000. That extra fraction of a mm of leather matters aesthetically even if it’s not a common failure spot.
-The pinky loop is a simple design but one of the more comfortable designs that I’ve encountered.
-The 10” size does give you a level of normal close functionality vs a 9.5” but remains unforgiving enough where you have to focus on mechanics to field the ball.
-Most importantly, as a lover of small gloves, playing catch with this glove brought a big smile to my face. Super fun in a way that makes me think that this should be the beer league glove.
