Maybe a dumb question, but doesnt or shouldnt a major tourney as listed on usssa.com have a major team in it?? As of today no major team is in the tourney

There are no dumb questions, just dumb people who ask questions, just kidding. There are only 4 Major teams and if they all elect to not participate in one of the conference tournaments that's their choice. There were no Major teams in the tournament in NorCal that got rained out either. Hell last year there were only 2 Major Teams and 8 Conference events that didn't have a Major team participating.

Think of it this way, there are plenty of local B and C tournaments around the country that don't actually have B and C teams participating.
