Last AB: A soft floater up the middle that the second baseman made the play of the season on for an out. Jumped and stretched out to catch it maybe 10-15 feet behind second base. ****er.

Hit like absolute dog **** today. 4-8 on the day with every single being hit off the handle and being blooped for ugly singles. Wasn’t happy.

Turned it around Monday night- 4-4 in wood bat league. 2 doubles and 2 singles.

Didn’t realize 2nd shifted back and over. Pulled the ball and hit a seed to him. I’ve caught myself a lot this season just free swinging and not checking defense. Gotta be more aware.

Been struggling to stand tall and swing through the ball w/o wildly scooping at everything the last week or so. Finally got some BP in over the weekend, and realized if I quit trying to tell myself I'm a power hitter and just look to cut through the middle of the ball, I'm much better off. It definitely paid off last night, save for a few moments of REALLY poor pitch selection on my part

Won both games of our doubleheader. Last AB was a triple. I’m fat and it should’ve been a dinger for any of our fast guys. Open field.
