What happens with or to the other party in a PayPal dispute? I have always been successful in getting my money refunded when a Seller thinks they can get away with not shipping. Does Paypal or Credit card go after them or is it simply a write off for them.

We don’t want to deal with those people...

If it’s a small claim, like the cost of a bat, I’m sure they just eat it if the solution isn’t simple.

Hiring an attorney to recover $125 is not cost effective.

i would think they would write off a one time event. but if it's multiple reports, they would probably shut down their account and maybe try to get money from the card or bank account that was linked to the account.

I bet they have a lawyer consultant write a strongly worded email template. With the correct verbiage, such as felony, mail fraud, and such, you could possibly resolve the dispute in one email.
