Can you intentionally jump in front of a thrown ball during a pickle? I’m not talking about slapping the ball or glove
This is truth. But in most cases the umpire is behind or near home plate while the rundown is between 1st and 3rd bases. Difficult for the umpire to make that kind of call from that angle. Obviously not withstanding umpires that can or will come out more than 3 feet to make calls.Any intentional act to impede a fielder or block a throw is treated the same, interference.
