Received replacement pitch safe cross bar which is now metal. Diameter of billet? does not fit into upper pole? Suggestions for fix? Reduction sleeve, etc?

Unfortunately Pat, the op and most if not all or the respondents have not been on the site in a few/several years. Perhaps your question would be best directed to pitch safe manufacturer.

do you mean the pin of the new cross bar does not fit (diameter too wide) into the old style fiberglass vertical support?
bench grind it/sand it to fit ?
