Actually in the second picture it looks like a crack is forming doesn't it?

or it could be crap fields and ball skins or something stuck to it like the rest of the bat ..

As beat to crap as that thing is it's hard to tell exactly what it is. I'd ask for some better pictures of it.

im getting better pics.

It looks more dirty than anything why he wouldnt clean it up i dont know.
but right now im looking at under $100 for it assuming its not cracked

getting more pics this afternoon, guy says that when you run your finger nail over Area in question, you really have to press hard and at an angle to get your nail caught under anything.

Maybe a paint chip but hard to say...


maybe sand it down a bit and put some ressin in there?
