Pro Flare SP...what's the difference?

Are theyes pretty heavy? I had a Don Morton C55 and it was pretty heavy, I'm hoping that's not the case with these. My buddy wants a big glove, but I don't know if this would suit him since he's a pitcher.

Neither of mine will answer your question. But I weighed my Rawlings 6JB and Pro Flare FGPF14-BK130, which is a baseball glove.

Rawlings 22.2-what I use for pitching
Pro Flare 23.7-outfield glove

I'd imagine the SP gloves may be slightly heavier, but wouldn't think by much.

Ok, they are great although on the heavy side. I love mine although only use it when I can sneak into the outfield...
