Right now, it's a shelf queen. I'm too afraid to use it, which is why I bought the Primo Sherry DCT as well. But, I have a feeling that the suede feel will just wear off over time and it'll be just grey.

It's funny because I didn't even order the Nubuck Suede, I ordered the JT Dark Shadow and they made it with the wrong leather. I decided to keep it because it's a beautiful glove.

It is significantly lighter than my Primo Sherry HOH custom DCT. I will weigh them both this week along with my JTan 302.

EDIT: I wonder if there are any pics around of a used Jacoby Ellsbury PROJR7-50 from a few years back, that was the same Nubuck Suede, although it was a black palm.

Found this thread searching info on a used glove. I didn't even realize it was suede until I read this thread. Doesn't look like it holds up very well.

Just got home and had this waiting for me. I wanted a matching glove to my DCT and decided on a PRO3028. Very happy with the size and pattern and it should break in nicely for softball. Props to Chad for making this happen, another smooth transaction.

Hey, I'm thinking about going custom with the 3028 pattern, my only concern is the fit of the glove. Can you tell me about how the finger stalls feel? Snug or loose? Thanks, beautiful glove btw.

I think the 3028 is a great pattern and is very similar to a Wilson SP125 but with straight fingers instead of curved like the SP. Not sure if you own or have seen a SP125 in person but the finger stalls feel a little more snug on the 302. I haven't started breaking it in but it wants to close thumb to pinky just like the Wilson, as least the one I have does. Thanks for the comment, it's definitely a really nice glove and happy with the size and pattern.

At some point I'll order a PRO208 and decide on which one to keep. I have a 504 and a JD pattern, not sure if you've held either of those two but I can compare the finger stalls and see which feels more snug, I'm guessing the 302 will since the other two I mentioned have a wider palm and pocket.

Thanks, I want to build a 12.5 inch custom and all I'm really concerned about is which one has the tightest finger stalls, I can't stand when my hand is swimming in the glove, I like a more secure fit so it molds around my hand when breaking in.

first time poster... i noticed a lot of you referring to a tan as 'JT tan'.... was wondering which tan this is on rawlings glove builder.... just the regular tan? what does the JT stand for? thanks

JTan refers to "Tan" on the glove builder. It stands for Japanese Tan.

I currently own a PRO3028-6NGO NAVY GOLD, its 12.5" and I love this glove. Its the perfect softball utility glove. I bought a cutom 504 over a year ago and wasnt crazy about it because it closed thumb to middle finger unlike the 302 which closes thumb to ring or pinky and has a nice bowl pocket. The hand stall is snug and comfy. I will be ordering a custom 302 soon but with a mod trap.

You did a real nice job with these! How's that golden brown look with some use on it?

I haven't had a chance to break it in. Did a bit of pounding with a 3lb dumbbell and use it in warmups. I will get some pics once it sees some game use . This color brown I think will keep its color well even after game use.
