SOLD FOR ASKING PRICEFOR SALE ONLY- NO TRADES Please!!!
12" Rawlings Made in the USA PRO-100H RHT glove.
Stamped "BLEM" on the thumb (see picss), but the only defect I can see is some discoloration in the binding of the glove around the hand stall.
No rips/tears. Lacing still in good shape. Approximately 50% broken-in. Thumb and pinky stalls still very stiff. Deer tanned lining. Feels like authentic Horween leather- stamped with code HEB14.

PM or text me if interested ( 614-205-9894)

I was the buyer, so I'll say- It was $145 and it was love at first sight:)
I'd picked up a 98 single post XTC and LOVED it, even preferred it to the more recent HOH's I've been through.
I thought that anytime I had a chance to pick up a 90's HOH that was in great shape I should, so i did :)

I did find a post on the old vintage glove forum where someone was asking what the date code on their pro 1000H was and it was the same as this.
I believe it was 1996, but someone said the 14 at the end denoted it was Guttmans rather than Horween.
Not sure if thats good or bad, but I'd requested a few additional pics and one of the pocket and the crotches and welting looked new.
I'm very excited to have had the opportunity to purchase this because up until now, i've only ever used a single post.
Time to see what all the H web fuss is about :)

I found this...
"From an old (2008) post on the Vintage Baseball Glove Forum where Bob answers a question about code HEB14: "On the old codes like yours the B is for a year ending in 1 the EH is o6 or June 01 is horween the 09 is Tenn. Tanning and the 14 is Guttman and still some american gloves made for eastbay every year. This year a completely new line take a look. Bob"

So, if its a year ending in 1, maybe 91? I dont think the grommits were still there in 2001 were they?

bbbuuutttt.... now I'm confused. this person says its the opposite of that bob said... essentially saying it'd be a year ending in 6. 1996 would make more sense- but i cant see BOB beig wrong..
"That is BLACK HORSE coding used by some appliance manufacturers and Rawlings for a time. For that era rawlings, the first letter of the sequence is the year digit (0-9). Second two letters are the month (01-12). The last two letters are the leather type.

B=1
L=2
A=3
C=4
K=5

H=6
O=7
R=8
S=9
E=0

KEA=503, March of either 85 or 95

01= Horween"

PS sorry to muck up this for sale thread, I just find it interesting that this code seems pretty easy but yet there are different interpretations of how to apply it..

Blackhorse dating system. Works for Pre 1998 and Current 4 letter dating system.

Usually, the first letter stamped corresponds with year manufactured, i.e.:

B=1 (1991)
L=2 (1992)
A=3(1993)
C=4(1994)
K=5(1995)

H=6(1996)
O=7(1997)

apparently 1998 was when they farmed out the HOH's to asia

R=8(1988)
S=9(1989)
E=0(1990)

the 2nd and 3rd letter are the month

EB=01 JA
EL=02 FB
EA=03 MR
EC=04 AP
EK=05 MY
EH=06 JN
EO=07 JL
ER=08 AU
ES=09 SP
BE=10 OC
BB=11 NV
BO=12 DC

Dot System:
2 Dot- 2002
1 Dot- 2001
5 Dots- 2000
4 Dots- 1999
3 Dots- 1998

The 2 numbers corresponds to the tannery from which the leather was provided for the glove:

01 - Horween
03 - P & V (Pfister-Vogul)
07 - Calnap
08 - Huch
09 - Tennessee Tanning
14 - Gutmann

So, HEB14 = 6/01 0r January 1996, 14 = Gutmann Leather Tannery

Thank you!

Thats what I thought, but when someone asked Bob about that EXACT code, he left the response above about it being from a year ending in 1... which, needless to say made me pretty confused :)
