Once again........
For the record,
I love underrated bats and that is why I did this review

Overall feel

Very Midloaded
Being that this is a 28oz, I think this is why this felt so midloaded
rather than balanced.
This really felt like a 27oz
A 26oz would feel much more balanced

N.O.W. performance
Because this bat test so high, I wasn't expecting much and after a few swings it was VERY
obvious that this would need an absolute minimum 1000 swings to get things going.
Very average performance and felt like a typical 1 pc
Super stiff handle and no flex.

(Lets ramp this up and skip the 500 swing mark....)

1400 swing mark
Amazingly, the bat still felt stiff
BUT the bat DEFINITELY got hotter and the distance of the balls hit went MUCH further.

FYI: This was laser measured

Despite the very stiff feel,
the ball really traveled far and I was surprised because the bat still had ZERO flex.
The Louisville solo dual action is probably the most stiffest bat I have ever swung.
(Next to the Easton Wegman) and that is not a bad thing at all......

This bat doesn't have that Worth/Miken "bounce" that you feel when you make contact,
and that may be a turn off for some.

Sound
there was a slight change in sound after 1000 swings

Durability
The bat has the durability of the Old School Eastons.
This bat possibly could exceed 7500+ swings EASY and that is NO exaggeration at all.

Overall perspective

After a rather long break in period, the bat got WAY better and I honestly liked the bat alot
but most Rec players do not have the patience to break a bat in and reap the rewards later.

Since I now have the bat broken in and the performance stepped way up,
I will rotate this in with my 40+ league gamers
where we hit 44's in 2 weeks. After 1000+ swings I really started to have fun swinging this bat.
The Solo dually really smashed the 44's VERY well with zero recoil and feedback.
This also hit 52's very well but many of the 52's "top spinned" alot and went downward on the tail end.

(I think the grit blast finish on the barrel may be the cause of this)

We retrieved quite a few from that marked area that is on that map.
The Solo also hit Classic M's very well.

I am not surprised at all the bat did not sell because
It is a 1PC
The aesthetics are rather bland.
this does not come in a .............25oz (?) smh...wow
And that "dreaded" break in.time. (I dont mind this at all because I love durability)

If you like a
VERY ULTRA STIFF feel on contact
solid durability
a bat that cost under $100
and performs VERY well after 1000+ swings

I would recommend this with confidence but because of that rather extended break in period
and no 25oz bat is available for this model.....

this may not be a bat for MILLENNIALS.

Another solid review 4xtra. How this one compare to the z4000 and super z dual stamp. Been thinking about picking up one of those.

Another solid review 4xtra. How this one compare to the z4000 and super z dual stamp. Been thinking about picking up one of those.

Had the Z4000 Dually (The black and Yellow one)
and gamed that bat several years ago but ONLY for 52's.
The Z4000 hits 52's extremely well.
The Z4000 was very average for 44;s and Classic M's.

The Super Z also hits 52's very well.
Had 2 of them several years ago and swung them all the time for ASA only and not USSSA.

FYI...
The Z4 dually has that inner ring in the barrel
AKA S1ID tech.

UPDATE:
We got the swing count up to around 2600 swings
and I gamed this tonight:
ASA
52/300 League provided balls
macgregor-x52re-asa-slow-pitch-synthetic-softball-12-inch-pack-of-12.jpg

Single: Between 1st and 2nd
Single: RCF
HR: RCF
Walk
Accidental HR / Equalizer Out to Deep Center field

Everybody on the team wanted to swing it.
These balls are super mushy but the ball absolutely jumped off that bat.

Even guys on the other team was impressed.
I am dead serious, after around 1500+ swings (yea yea, that is a lot of swings but.....)
this bat is solid.

I appreciate that.
The Solo Z really surprised me and everyone else out there who watched the game.
It really performed very well tonight and everybody wanted to swing it..

We swing a ton of different brand name bats when we BP
and it is amazing how many of these "other bats" hang with the popular bats when they are broken in..

Many of the guys out here are adamant on swinging on what everybody else is swinging.

Gotta 19Juggy ASA that Im going to review soon as well.
Im a very fast typist so I dont mind. (Im on a desk top at home and work)

I can only imagine But must be pretty cool reaction when people realize your not swinging some double barrel new tech bat.

I swung the 17 OVL juggy and it hit the hot dot 52s very well. can only imagine nothing but good things from the 19 juggy which I’m looking to add this year myself

update:
This bat in this particular review Cracked at around 3300+ swings. (We were hitting 44's and classic M's like crazy with it)
I got 2 more and
One had 1000 swings and the other was NIW

We swung them TONIGHT (52/300, equalizer)
and 4-5 guys on the team swung both of them and we won the game.
I swung the NIW and hit the gaps (RCF/RF) and got on 2nd with no problem twice.....
The ball landed right in front of the fence every time.
These were all NECK shots and the ball still came off the bat pretty nice..
and this is NIW
