TPX Omaha question?

I have a TPX Omaha softball bat that has about 150 swings and it is getting HOT!!! When I grab the barrel in my hand it sounds like the celephane off a cigarette pack. Does anybody know why it does this??? It's the first bat that I have ever owned that made that sound.

All louisville slowpitch bats I've owned will do that when you squeeze the barrel after they are broken in.

I wasnt too worried, more curious than anything. If anybody has a chance to pick this bat up, they should. It is ridicilously HOT and sounds like a cannon when you hit the ball with it. I normally dont like balanced bats but this thing is SWEET!
