I did. waited over an hour to talked to them, they said there are no issues. I was just wondering why if there are no issues then why does it say alert?

There is no issue, because when shipping internationally, once it hits international borders the USPS tracking becomes.....obsolete....for lack of a better word. It may update but won't be until after the person has received the package, most likely. Happens all the time.

You could likely put your tracking number in on Canada Post's website and get more info, now that it's in Canada.
