Sure you guys can tell from my post that I dont do much of this. With that said have any of you had issues yet. I do not know how to post pics but I bought my wife won and she broke it in less than 100 swings on a 65 deg day. did not make it through one bp session. very dissapointed

yes sir. Using a bag of beat up womens balls from our league. Honestly have about 30 balls in the bag and she got a round and a half out of a 250$ brand new purchase. She has a z3 that she has swung all year with little to no stress marks as a comparisson. sorry to the guys who like bat porn. I am not very computer savy and have no idea how to post pics ffom my phone or i would

Just text the pics to someone who can post them as I know everyone wants to see this.

Jeez...I came here to look at the reviews on Z4K's and this is the first thing I see. Curious about durability as well. I have a Z1K end load Utrip stamp that has at least 3K cuts on it and is still going strong.

LS sent 100 Z4 out as demos. 97 of them are still going strong, 3 blew up in about 20-50 swings. No explanation.

I bought a Z4 EL and have about 30 hacks in it with no issues.

I also swung a Z4 balanced at night in about 55 deg weather and it held up fine.

Possible that you may be able to get it replaced and still keep a warranty.

I have both the dual and utrip Z4000..... I have approx. 150-175 swings on them both with evil bp balls. I don't have any issue with the utrip version. The Dual has like 3-4 lines of spider webbing.. Other then that the bats are hitting great...

Duds happen... no biggie, I'm sure LS will take care of you on the return.

The Z series have always been known to be hit or miss on durability.

Still hot though.

We now have well over 500 cuts on the entire Z-4000 line including the Sr Hyper Z and we have not had a problem. We have a few B and the rest C rated players hitting them so you know they are getting hit very hard. You will get a new one back and it shouldn't go against your warranty.

I appreciate the replies and will be calling ls in the morning as i work night shifts. one reason i sent you the pictures of the bat. And I am truly hoping this is a fluke. Bat was good for the 45ish swings she got.

Just got a Z4k EL in with 50 swings on it. Will take some BP this weekend and see how it hits. I'll post some feedback on it Monday.

Looks NOW to me to be honest. Original grip is still on it and isn't dirty, no ball marks or scuffs...not any signs of dirt.

Going to hit it and the DC41 this weekend, whichever seems hotter will be used during the following weekends indoor tourney.

I'm 400+ on A DUELY. 55 degrees all 52/300 ball s ..Absolutely amazing bat. Feels just like my z1 s. I hit them side by side in BP sessions.

Finally got to the cages yesterday along with a few teammates. Hit my Z4k with 50 hits and my DC41 which was NIW. Balls were a mix of USSSA, NSA and ASA varying from 52's, 44's, 40's and a few Stadium balls.

Started with the Z4k EL and except for the factory knob grip it felt pretty good. I would say it was closer to an OG Z2k I had versus a Z3k IMHO. Decent exit with only 50 swings on it. Next round I hit my DC41 (new black/orange model). Half way through round one and the ball felt like it was jumping, better than the Z4k. A teammate swung both and preferred the DC41. IMHO the DC41 is hotter quicker but the Z4k didn't feel that much behind. DC41 also feels more endloaded than the z4k. I guess it all depends on your preference on endload and if the DC41's can hold up versus the Z4k. Either one would be a good choice.

Also had a Demarini rep show up and got to hit the CL22 and The One (all stamp). The All Stamp One was stiff and needs some swings to break in. The CL22 was decent but not as good as the DC41 and Z4k to me at least. I had a green/grey CL22 and loved it but didn't like the new one at all.

I have both the Black DC and the Z4 EL. I agree with everything said here. I only have about 40 swings on my Z4 and it hasnt opened up yet. The DC opened up in about 40 swings, now I have close to 100 on it and it is scary.

Need to get some more swings on the Z4 to see what kind of pop it will have. Definitely swings much better than the Z3 IMO. Less flex.

Do your z4000 feel like the handle can move. I can legit move my taper like .10 of an inch from the barrel. When swinging the barrel feels like it is going to fly off

Didn't notice anything....but I did read the comments on the other thread. If I remember when I get home I'll see if it moves at all.

Has anyone hit a Z4k Powerload yet? I have one coming via a trade and want to know what to expect.

Put some swings on the power load today. It was indoors, but the bat felt great. Was hitting Classic Ms and the bat felt good out of the wrapper. However, at around 100 cuts, the thing changed to something silly. Reminded me a lot of the Z2000+, so take that for what it's worth. I have high hopes for this thing, but will know for sure when I can get it outside. As for durability, my dual stamp balanced Z4K is at 4 BP sessions so about 300 hits or so. Going perfectly strong.
