I just don't get what their plan for OF is going forward. They have Victorino, Craig, and Cespedes but seem committed to getting Jackie Bradley every day at-bats in CF, and their top offensive prospect Mookie Betts recently switched from 2B to OF.

the alien will go back to what ever plant he is from and they'll roll with cespedes, bradley, craig in the OF

Victorino will be back on the DL soon, don't worry.

Craig in Left, JBJ in Center, Cespedes in Right. They should get enough production out of left and right to justify keeping Bradley as your everyday CF. Will be fun to watch JBJ and Cespedes try to one up eachother with their arms. Last I heard they were first and second in the majors in OF assists.

Andrew Miller reportedly going to Detroit. Fun fact: Andrew Miller was an absolute beast in college, holds UNC's records for strikeouts and was a large piece of the trade with Florida that brought Miguel Cabrera to Detroit.

Now he's a lights-out lefty specialist.

You must be high.. Cespedes.. Yes I agree, Craig.. Is hitting .237 and (I believe) playing injured. I doubt he breaks out of that shell just by merely stepping into Fenway Park. Joel Kelly was a ??? to me, but he hasn't been pitching so well this season but overall he has a good record.

what exactly is your point? He's hit .315, .307, .315 the last 3 seasons and you think he's playing hurt this year which would theoretically be the reason why he is hitting .237. So again, what is your point?

My point? He said that they would get "production" out of Craig this season. It's not going to happen. I would bet that he barely finishes over .250. If I'm wrong.. Then I'll apologize but I'm not because he's playing hurt and his swing is all off... so there.

There's not one single Red Sox fan who gives 2 ****s about what kind of production they get out of him this year. I also don't see where Beer Leaguer is talking about this year. Every single player mentioned in his post is signed through 2015 atleast.

Obviously there's at least one who think so.. (Hint: Beer Leaguer). Nothing about 2015 or beyond in that post.

It's sad to see Craig go.. I really liked him too. A great hitter when healthy and so-so fielder. LF is the best place for him though. Don't expect an arm out of him because he doesn't have one. Cespedes will put on a clinic in that dept.

if you haven't noticed by now, Boston's front office has waived the white flag. Craig could hit .043 the rest of the year and it wouldn't matter one bit.

I may not have mentioned 2015 or beyond, but I also didn't mention the rest of 2014.
