Anyone hit this bat outdoors?
What are your thoughts?
I just got one as a return (26 oz) and I'm debating on whether to keep it or sell it.
Thanks in advance.
Almost identical...It has 1 long pocket on each side compared to 2 small pockets on the Black Ops...the wheels are much better on the combat - thin inline skate wheels (much more quiet than the black ops plastic wheels)...and it comes with a bottle opener (interesting).
I used my NIW over the weekend (8 games) no BP...I thought it was hot out of the wrapper...Played ASA (44/375)...Not a team bat...tracking on 3 sides just starting to develop...I'd say it is better suited (long term) for classic M's and 52/300...Love this bat!...Better than the DB ASA that we have.
Here are some:

I should have said "read" not "seen"...The research I've read states that the protectors can actually caused problems...Studies show that a slower ball actually causes more damage (most protectors do slow the mph, so lets say a 70 mph ball could be slowed to 35 mph by a protector)...The studies...
FYI - Research it first...From what I've seen, they do not work...I have 3 kids and obviously am concerned for their safety as well...seems to be a false sense of security for player and parent.
