Hey I am looking at trying a partial overlap grip and am wondering if anyone has tried the whip strip and if it's actually Ann effective tool. Also does an overlap grip work better and feel more comfortable with a handle taper?

After about 10 hits it sounded as though there was a tiny peice of glue or something rattling inside the barrel. Anyone else notice this?

Got mine yesterday and put about 20-25 hits on it. Pretty solid but I must say I like the filthy I got with it a little more!

mid load is not the same thing as an endload. Its exactly what it sounds like its a mid load, which means its slightly more loaded than a balanced but not as aggressive as an end load, there is some slight weighting midway down the barrel.
